Our Mission and Corporate Profile

The Flagler Symphonic Society was incorporated in December, 2000 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit Florida corporation. Our principal mission is to produce professional symphonic music in various formats for citizens of Flagler County and surrounding communities. Our long term goal is the establishment of a full time symphony orchestra in the county and to help make Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Bunnell and surrounding areas the cultural capital of Northeast Florida.

We also provide ongoing support for and participation in other community music activities, such as youth ensembles with performance opportunities, workshops, and informal school sessions presented by local professional musicians and visiting artists and performers.

We are honored to have David Reichert Sprung as our Conductor and Music Director.  He comes to us from San Francisco, where he has been a member of the San Francisco Opera and Ballet Companies.  Maestro Sprung has conducted symphony, opera, ballet, and music theatre with a number of musical organizations around the United States.

Please support our mission and efforts by becoming a member of the Flagler Symphonic Society.
